About The Position
Job Details
Duration : 13 weeks
Start Date : Mid-November
Schedule : 9a - 6p or 8a - 5p shifts from Mondays - Fridays
Responsibilities :
- Review and process prescriptions
- Counsel patients on medication use and administration
- Verify medications using a Script Pro machine and electronic counter
- Consult with providers regarding medication orders and discrepancies
- Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; newly licensed pharmacists will also be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited institution
- Certifications in BLS and flu vaccine administration required
- Arizona state pharmacy license required
