Maintenance Technician

Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician in Columbia, MO

As a Maintenance Technician you will :

• Controls / Technical support for various Shift production and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.
• Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations
• Maintain current documentation : electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.

Qualifications :

• 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field or currently pursuing
• Some experience in the Electrical field
• Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
• PLC programming skills
• Electrical / Mechanical Experience
• Prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

May need working on 2nd shift and weekends

o Employee will train on 1st for 4 to 6 months then move to either 2nd or 3rd shift.

o Shift preference is determined by shop seniority.

o Saturday OT is 6 hours Standard per shift.

Shift : 2nd or 3rd shift

Duration : 12 Months +

Location : Columbia, MO 65122

Salary : 50k - 60K annually

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
