Job Description

We're looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are excited to support our Med-Surg team with compassionate, hands-on care. In this role, you'll provide essential daily living assistance to patients, monitor comfort and safety, and help maintain a clean and healing environment. You'll work closely with our nursing team to ensure patients feel cared for and supported during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care activities, including personal hygiene and comfort needs

Assist in maintaining a safe and clean patient environment

Support nurses with vital patient monitoring and reporting

Respond promptly to patient requests and needs

Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver respectful, patient-centered care

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our nurses and staff to provide effective, patient-focused care and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Completion of Nurse Assistant training program and successful certification

Must maintain nursing assistant certification while employed at RRH

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Continuing education required for certificate renewal

BLS certification required and maintained thereafter

Must successfully pass Competency Test within 3 months of employment and annually thereafter

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English

Must demonstrate Service Excellence skills with patients, families, coworkers, and the community
