About The Position
Job Title : Occupational Therapist Job Specialty : Acute Care Hospital Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year required;
prior travel experience highly preferred License : Active license required upon submission Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have : COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with Medical / Religious Exemptions only Job Description : Work in an acute care hospital setting providing occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment programs for patients.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and activities to aid recovery.- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.- Complete required orientation hours to become familiar with hospital systems and procedures.
