Title : Maintenance Technician
Location : Emmaus, PA
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Type : Contract-hire
Pay : $20-22 per hour
Start Date : ASAP
Responsibilities :
- Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken or damaged equipment, tools, etc.
- Install appliances and equipment as needed.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems.
- Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems.
- Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and / or other facility projects.
- Report to facility or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those in need of attention, and currently in progress.
Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift 75lbs / comfortable working at heights above 4 feet.
- One year minimum exposure in a mechanical field (preferred)
- Ability to learn HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience working with basic hand tools and learn the use of other tools.
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
- Ability to complete tasks without direct supervision and work overtime when required.
