Job Description :

The Omni Richmond Hotel is hiring a friendly, hard-working individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Coordinator / Supervisor.

In this hybrid position, this individual will provide pivotal support to our housekeeping leadership team by communicating with room attendants about daily assignments, maintaining efficient operations and ensuring that our guests enjoy a 4-Diamond experience in accordance with Omni Standards.

Pay Rate : $17.00 / hr

• Open and create housekeeping room attendant assignment sheets
• Divide floors and daily duties for Houseman and Floor Supervisors.
• Assist in responding to all calls and guest requests.
• Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
• Assist in coaching and training Room Attendants
• Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.
• Assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Ensure that the Guest Room Attendants linen cart is neat and well organized.
• Maintain supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.
• Inspect Guest Rooms for 4-Diamond cleanliness standards.
• Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.
• Ensure VIP rooms are inspected by noon or earlier if noted.
• Ensure check out / vacated rooms are a priority.
• Knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
• To ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

• Proficient computer skills.
• Experience with OPMS preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to be on feet for 8 hours a day.
• Effective problem solution skills.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards
• Ability to work with management on special projects
• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as required
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Must be able to communicate via radio and phone as needed
