job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent. A passion for healthcare and a commitment to patient care. Prior experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is advantageous. Able to safely mix acids and bicarbonate per established protocols. Proficient in distinguishing primary colors. Completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, demonstrating your competency within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire or as state regulations require. Obtain and maintain Patient Care Technician certification through a recognized state or national program within 18 months of your hire date, adhering to specific state requirements.

Join us as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, where you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will provide essential care for individuals battling renal failure under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN).
Your Responsibilities :
- Direct Patient Care : Engage with patients to ensure they receive safe and comfortable dialysis treatment. This includes monitoring patient stats, initiating and terminating treatments, and collecting blood samples as directed by physicians.
- Technical Duties : Maintain our dialysis machines in pristine condition by preparing, cleaning, disinfecting, and performing safety checks to adhere to the highest quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance : Implement best practices using personal protective equipment and follow all company policies and regulations under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Stay involved through participation in staff meetings and ongoing education.
