We have learned the value and reward of happy customers! We are hiring enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician Trainees.

The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

We are offering a 10-week PAID TRAINING PROGRAM - Ideal candidates will have experience working in customer service, and sales, and / or enjoy working hands-on.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• There is a SALES aspect to this role - base pay + commission.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, coils, and condenser units etc.
• Demonstrate respect, compassion and integrity when communicating with clients.
• Ability to communicate recommendations and services.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner in accordance with ASI Hastings quality and safety standards.
• Ability to demonstrate punctuality.
• Participate in weekly meetings for continuing training and development.

• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image.
• Analytical, focused on quality, and results driven.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions.
• Proficiency with mobile devices (e.g. tablets, smart phones and / or other devices as required)

WORK CONDITIONS :

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to lift and / or move objects 10-75 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof).
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time.
• Moderate exposure to physical risk.
• Occasionally required to ascend / descend ladders and balance.
