Billing Specialist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and send out invoices to customers or clients
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information
- Verify pricing and product information before invoicing
- Enter financial transactions and billing information into the company's database or accounting software
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billing activities
- Maintain proper documentation of billing records and transactions
- Keep track of customer communication related to billing inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to billing
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to billing and invoicing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college level coursework in Business or Accounting preferred
- At least 1 year of related work experience in a relevant Accounting role
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in the industry may be necessary
