Millwright - 1st Shift (4am-12pm) up to $34-$36 / hr

Who we are looking for :

We are currently looking for a Millwright - 1st Shift to be based out of our Phoenix, AZ facility. Reporting to the shift supervisor, this person will be broad responsibility for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and working on a variety of different equipment.

This person will need to work with the production and maintenance team to communicate issues and ensure quality production.

What you'll do :

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair all mechanical systems and associated equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and associated piping.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical power presses and associated support equipment.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Utilize blueprints and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation.
• Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
• Must maintain production standards to meet internal and external customer demand.
• Responsible for the accurate completion of all paperwork, transactions, tags, etc.
• Adhere to all Life Saving Rules, including Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding / Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocols
• Ensure Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are met daily.
• Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring :

• High School Diploma / GED
• Five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math and verbal skills.
• Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery.
• Ability to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to lead, assist, and / or instruct employees in the performance of their duties, as requested.
• Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends.

• Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethic.

Within 3 months, you'll :

• Complete initial training.
• Be able to troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance needs for operations.
• Assist production teams to ensure production areas are operating, preventative maintenance is completed, and down time is minimized.
