Shift : Monday - Thursday, 10-hour day shifts
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 3-4 years
License : Registered Nurse License
Certifications : Relevant certifications for an Operating Room RN
Must-Have : Ability to handle minor ortho, general, and gynecological procedures; experience with holding, PACU, and infusions
Job Description :
- Responsible for pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Assist surgical team during procedures by providing required instruments and supplies
- Ensure patient safety and provide a clean environment to prevent infection
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide necessary instructions and support
- Collaborate with surgical team members to provide the best possible care
- Adapt to various tasks and rapidly changing situations within the operating room
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Note : This position is a rapid response crisis role with no guaranteed hours and includes two flex days per assignment.*
