Interim Senior Accountant

Our Vaco team is partnering with a healthcare client in need of an interim Senior Accountant. This client is based in Brentwood, TN and the team works on a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site).

They are also open to a contract to hire engagement.

As a Vaco professional consultant, you leverage your professional passion and demonstrated expertise to help our clients tackle complex business challenges.

This role will require someone to be local to the greater Nashville area, as it is a hybrid Senior Accountant role.

As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve :

• Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
• Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
• Reviewing and explaining variances to budget / forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals

This is an interim / contract position, yielding 40 hours / week.

Open to contract to hire, otherwise must be able to commit to 3 months.

Must be willing to work on-site in Brentwood, TN.
