Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary :

We seek a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data reporting, specifically pulling data from AWS and SAP Hana, and creating insightful Power BI dashboards.

This role is crucial for providing leadership with the data-driven insights needed to make informed business decisions related to procurement efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Data Extraction and Integration :
• Extract data from multiple sources including AWS, SAP Hana, and Ariba.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity during the extraction and integration processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to streamline data flow into reporting systems.
• Report and Dashboard Development :
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards.
• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights through effective data visualization techniques.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing reports and dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration :
• Work closely with procurement and leadership teams to understand their reporting requirements.
• Present and explain dashboards and reports to leadership, ensuring they understand the insights and can make informed decisions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to use and interpret the dashboards.
• Data Analysis and Insights :
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Generate ad-hoc reports as needed to support specific business inquiries.
• Develop predictive models and analytics to forecast procurement needs and opportunities.
• Documentation and Compliance :
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, dashboards, and data processes.
• Ensure all reporting activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in data reporting and analysis.
• Technical Proficiency :
• Strong experience with AWS and SAP Hana for data extraction.
• Advanced skills in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Communication Skills :
• Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have :

• Procurement Experience : Previous experience working within a procurement team.
• Additional Tools : Familiarity with other data tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, or R.

Pay : $150,000 - $180,000
