- Responsible for helping in keeping the classroom equipment and materials in good condition so as to encourage maximum use by the children
- Responsible for supervision of all the children at all time in the classroom with and is attentive to the children at all times
- Responsible for attaining CPR and First Aid certificates (we will pay for the
class)
Responsible for developing and maintaining a sound working relationship
with all staff members, children and parents
- Must attend and participate in staff meetings
- Share and discuss only positive information with parents about their children
- Responsible for meeting with your team weekly to discuss strengths and
weakness in your classroom to carry out its functions, policies, and procedures
- Responsible for working cooperatively with all staff members
- Responsible for helping in organizing classroom environment where everyone has a fair share of responsibilities
- Ability to establish warm and supportive relationships with children and their families
- Develop awareness of behavior and growth development of children
- Expected to never punish (no time-outs), aggressively handle and / or verbally ridicule child(ren)’s ability or lack thereof
- Expected to always interact with children
- Expected to speak with children at a child’s eye level, and use a positive, soft tone of voice
