UPMC Shadyside is currently hiring both experienced and graduate Full-Time Registered Nurses to support the Neuro-Oncology / Neuro-Surgery unit.
About the Position & Unit :
This is a Neuro-Oncology / Neuro-Surgery unit that cares for postoperative craniotomies and spinal surgeries related to tumor debulking, stroke patients, and acute / chronic neurological conditions.
We also see a diverse population of oncology patients and some medical patients. We are a high-performing unit that focuses on patient-centered care.
Among patient care, nurses will have the opportunity to participate in hospital-based councils and committees, as well as continued unit development / education and quality projects.
We strongly encourage our nursing staff to continue their education through academia, monthly unit education sessions, in-services, and conferences.
This is a team-oriented unit with a supportive staff, leaders, and Neurosurgeons. It is a great fit for both graduate nurses and nurses seeking to expand their clinical knowledge or gain new experience.

The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $31.60.
