Our daily IPv4 scans and the world’s largest SSL / TLS Certificate database enables customers with the most accurate and continuously updated attack surfaces.

Enterprise security teams leverage Censys to keep pace with the speed of the business and gain an advantage on the rapidly evolving cyber-attack threats.

Role Summary :

This role of Product Marketing Manager is a critical link in our go-to-market strategy, you’ll be working closely with several departments to build consistent and effective ways to position Censys’s leadership in the market.

The successful candidate will bring several years of security domain expertise, to gain credibility quickly with sales & customers as the subject matter expert.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Execute on product launches and releases in collaboration with the product and marketing teams.
  • Drive a marketing strategy in collaboration with the content and demand generation teams to meet or exceed pipeline, bookings, and conversion targets.
  • Work effectively to build and execute plans that cross different functional groups, including product management, business development, and sales.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of sales enablement materials to arm the sales team with strategies and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand and document personas, use cases, and common objections.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to develop impactful customer case studies and testimonials to enhance our market presence and reinforce our value proposition.
  • Consistently analyze win / loss reporting, close rates, and other key funnel metrics to help drive product marketing direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of work experience in product marketing (or related technical field) in a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Comfortable working in high-energy, fast-paced startup environments.
  • Adaptable and resilient; able to embrace rapid changes and pivot effectively to new tasks and challenges.
  • Proven experience in establishing unique value propositions of products with a clear understanding of target markets and buyer personas.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product management, business development, and sales teams.
  • Exceptional content creation skills, with experience authoring compelling, high-quality product content in a variety of formats (print, web, social media, and video).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in or with the cybersecurity industry.
  • Experience working with content and demand generation teams to drive marketing strategies that meet or exceed targets.
  • Experience in developing and delivering sales enablement materials and providing competitive intelligence that increases sales productivity and pipeline conversion.
  • Proficient in analyzing win / loss reporting, close rates, and other key funnel metrics to drive product marketing direction.

Our target salary range for this role is between $111,000 USD and $175,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

Our roots are in Ann Arbor, Michigan with location hubs in Seattle, the Bay Area, Washington D.C., and Dublin, Ireland. Our innovation is fueled by the team’s global perspectives and diverse backgrounds.
