Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Senior Project Manager to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. This position will directly support the Marine Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives.
The role will be responsible for orchestrating seamless system integrations across different departments and organizations.
The person will also be responsible for creating best practices and functional excellence for the PMO group.
What you'll be doing :
- Developing project plans and timelines to guide successful business integration projects. Measuring against those plans.
- Managing cross-functional dependencies and conducting regular integration team meetings.
- Coordinating and leading cross-functional project teams while facilitating efficient communication and collaboration among team members and teams.
- Managing project budgets and ensuring adherence.
- Communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Identifying and addressing project risks.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Maintaining project documentation
In addition to the project management responsibilities, the Senior Integration Project Manager also takes on the following tasks :
- Developing and implementing tools, templates, and best practices for project management and M&A integration processes.
- Ensuring consistency in project documentation, reporting, and tracking.
What you'll need to be successful :
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Solid project leadership skills.
- 5+ years of business integration experience in large enterprises with multiple endpoints
- BA / BS degree in Business, Administration or a related field is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar experience is required.
- Experience in Component (to OEM) and finished goods (to dealer) B2B organization highly desirable.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% Domestically.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage diversity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities
- Drive for results and priority setting.
- Excellent organizational and technical skills.
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skill
