Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : ICU Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 2 years License : GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have : Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias- Multi-system organ failure- Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring- IV Insulin Protocols- GI surgery- Genitourinary / Renal experience- Chronic / Acute Renal failure management- IV therapy- Accessing Ports- Arterial line management- Blood Product Administration- Central line care / management- PICC line management- Starting IVs- Continuous IV sedation- Titrate Cardiac drips- Titrate Vasoactive drips- CVA / Acute Stroke management- Assist with management of BiPAP- Assist with management of CPAP- Assist with Chest Tube Insertion / Removal- Care of Ventilated Patient- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Interpretation of ABGs- Suctioning (ETT, NT)- Infection Prevention- Isolation, Precautions / Use of PPE- Phlebotomy- Surgical Wounds with drains / Wound Vac Job Description : Work in a high-acuity ICU setting with patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.
- Manage patient care for a 1 : 2 patient-to-nurse ratio.- Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis and EPIC efficiently.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Comply with full compliance requirements to ensure timely start and continued employment.- Participate in a 13-hour orientation session.
- Potential floating within the facility may be required.- Schedule must accommodate up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO), with blocked scheduling not guaranteed.
- Must be prepared to work major holidays based on assignment duration : - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Thanksgiving / Black Friday - Christmas Eve / Christmas Day - New Year's Eve / New Year's Day
