Job Title : JRSS Network Engineer

Job Location : Hill, AFB

Security Clearance : An active, in-scope US Government issued : Secret clearance

Due to the nature of the work and US Government required, US Citizenship is required.

Overview :

United One Communications is recruiting for a JRSS Network Engineer to join our team based in Hill, AFB.

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for overall network engineering support for customer programs, including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the DISA Enterprise Network.
• Solve routine technical problems following established procedures and policies.
• Work directly with the engineering team to provide specifications for network architecture, evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and perform needs assessments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues through monitoring, testing, and servicing network equipment.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Junior Level : Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience with one or more of the following : alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN / WAN maintenance, and performance management.
• Mid-Level : Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with one or more of the following : alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN / WAN maintenance, and performance management.
• Senior Level : Must have a minimum of 5 plus years of experience with one or more of the following : alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN / WAN maintenance, and performance management.
• Expertise in one or more of the following : routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, and Optical Switching.
• General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP.
• Ability to work in a shift work environment as this is a 24 / 7 operation.
• U.S. Citizenship

Education :

A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required

Clearance Requirements :

Active Secret

Certification Requirements :

DoD 8570 IAT Level II
