- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure, CCRN - Critical Care RN, TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course, EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Tech Cert Verification - National, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP), IV Certification (LVN / LPN / Other), Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB), NIH Stroke Certification, Certification (Miscellaneous), CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute, Medication Test / Pharmacology Competency Exam, Competency Exam, Dysrhythmia / EKG Competency Exam.

- Accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient / family education and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.
- Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area.
- Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.
- Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family / support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.
- Adheres to hospital polices, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.
Job Requirements
- CA RN Licensure
- ACLS
- PALS (within 180 days of hire)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Corp Course within 180 Days of hire)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days)
Schedule Information
- Shift : 3 x 12 Days 0645-1915
- Weekend Requirement : Every other Sat / Sunday; Holiday as needed

- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course : TNCC is valid for 4 years.
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring : AWHONN certification is valid for 2 years from completion date.
- Tech Cert Verification - National : Required within 30 days of start.
- State License 1 Verification : Primary source online verification required within 30 days of start.
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP).
