Job Summary :

The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate Allied Telesis’ Value Proposition for its products and services to potential business clients and potential channel partners via the phone and other tools such as email or Team / Ring Central meeting options.

Responsible for lead generation / partner, account development and opportunity qualification on a set number of calls with emphasis on outbound activities, i.

e.calls-emails- and Linkedin. Must be able to qualify contacts and projects, set meeting for the outside team to follow up and expand upon, resulting in the building of opportunities.

Must be able to support the working of business from opportunity creation to the actual closing of the sale on occasion.

Candidates must be based in Texas, Colorado or Minnesota.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Needs to make between 30 and 45 outbound calls on a daily basis to potential clients / customers and channel partners in all vertical applications i.

e. state, local, educational, healthcare and commercial customers.

  • Responsible for qualifying and working all leads for their specific job description with their outside sales team.
  • Generate and manage opportunities in conjunction with the outside team to generate revenue by setting qualified meetings for outside team.
  • Responsible for building interest in Allied Telesis products and solutions by using strong questioning and listening skills.

Should be able to ask the right probing questions to uncover opportunities.

  • Identify, qualify and manage opportunities, by effectively using all necessary resources to closure.
  • Work well within a team environment and be a good communicator with all those you come in contact with.
  • Follow sales processes, by effectively using the SalesForce.com CRM platform to manage daily task and activity.
  • Able to adjust to market priorities as necessary or as directed by sales management or outside team.
  • Utilize company resources and website to assist clients in generating interest as well as for own personal development.
  • Must be willing to learn and develop an understanding and keep up to date on the competitive market that Allied Telesis works in.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

Experience, Skills & Abilities :

  • Highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic to learn new skills and about technology
  • Minimum of two years of prior inside or outside sales experience a must.
  • Knowledge of Network infrastructure and other IT components a plus but not required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding expectations of previous business opportunities / quotas
  • Must have strong verbal and written skills.
  • Must work well within a team environment and be able to take constructive feedback from management.
  • Must have a polite and professional approach with all clients, business partners and other employees while on the phone or in e-mail correspondence.
  • Federal Sales experience a plus.

Education / Training :

High School Graduate

College education preferred
