The Project Manager 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

The Project Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Project Manager 2 designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan;

takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project.

Prepares designs and work specifications; develops project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.

Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.

Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follows established guidelines / procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience managing cross functional medium to large scale projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Visio
• Adaptable using new system integrations, shared systems, and platforms, and able to troubleshoot and resolve general technical issues.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency shared systems such as SharePoint, and Teams
• Strong working knowledge using systems to develop, run, and analyze report / trends such as Quickbase, Excel, Power BI, Python, Tableau
• Demonstrates strong project / program management skills, strategic thinking, and leadership
• Identified as an effective influencer with strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience developing and documenting processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Medicaid or health solutions industry experience
• Six Sigma and / or Project Management Institute certification.
• Flexible and adaptable dealing ambiguous situations

Additional Requirements / Adherence

Workstyle : Remote work at home

Location : United States

Preferred : South Carolina

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Eastern Time

Travel : Occasional travel up to 1 time per quarter

• Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home / Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position / job.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Interview Format

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor.

This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and / or an SMS Text Messaging interview.

If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided.

Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and / or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$63,400 - $87,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
