The Labor and Delivery Unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced L&D RN to join our team!

Schedule : part-time, day shift with 2 x 12 hour shifts per week from 7 : 00am to 7 : 00pm

Sign-On Bonus Information : This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus.

The Labor and Delivery Unit is located within the Inova Women's Hospital at on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia.

Our unit has 33 L&D beds and 6 C-Section ORs. Our nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 2. Inova Fairfax Hospital performs over 10,000 births each year and is a leader in care for high risk pregnancies.

Our nursing staff is made up of highly skilled clinicians with experience in obstetric care. In-house anesthesiologists and neonatologists / pediatricians are available 24 hours a day.

Requirements :

Required Experience : A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 2+ years of L&D experience is strongly preferred.

• Minimum Education Requirement : Education : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN);

must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Minimum Licensure / Certification Requirement :

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start
