Job Title : Custodial Crew Member
Hours : 5 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm
Shift Details : 5 hour shifts

End Date : December 28, 2024
Job Description :
We are seeking reliable and proactive Custodial Crew Members to join our evening team. The custodial team plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional visitor experience by maintaining clean restrooms and managing site trash effectively.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable walking between different garden locations, as motorized carts are not allowed.
Key Responsibilities :
Restroom Maintenance Tasks
- Regularly clean toilets and sinks.
- Mop floors as needed.
- Empty interior trash receptacles.
- Ensure sufficient soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Trash Removal
- Regularly empty trash containers throughout the evening and at the end of the shift from :
- McKay Creek Plaza (5 containers)
- Tropical Courtyard (1 container)
- Food Concession Stand (1 container)
- Majeed Discovery Garden (2 containers, including Classroom)
- Place all collected trash in designated dumpster(s).
Availability
- Custodial staff must be reachable by cell phone during work hours to respond to emergencies or requests.
- Personal cell phone use is prohibited during work hours, except for work-related communication.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to walk between multiple garden locations during shift hours.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Reliable and punctual.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment :
Outdoor garden setting, requiring mobility between locations without motorized carts.
