Radiology - Interventional Physician

Setting : General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified, not Chest Pain Center accredited, not a Trauma Level designation)

Duties : Hospital Coverage, we have a need for a Radiologist to cover the Hospital which involves the IR needs along with Stroke CT's and other procedures / availability.

Required Procedures : IR Procedures (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); CT / US Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Other), Barium studies, Lumbar punctures.

EMR : Cerner

Support Staff : Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses and Techs; We do have a large Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and after-hours reads

Dealbreakers : Procedural Skills, Acute Care Imaging capability (Stroke CT's, ED and ICU imaging studies)
