Feed Ingredient Receiver Operator FM01-1st Shift/Full Time/ Center Feed Mill, Tx

Job Details :

This position is responsible for performing tasks assigned by supervisor that are associated with the day to day.

Working conditions : Must be able to work in all weather / climate conditions from very cold to very hot and humid.Must be able to work in a dusty environment.

This position pays $17.15 / hr.

1. Ability to accurately record data

2.Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system

3.Ability to operate equitment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo

4.Ability to obtain and run quaility analysis on required incoming ingredients

5.Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients

6. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools

7. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.

8. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling

9. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures

10. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species

11. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas

12. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required

13. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols

14. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and / or up to 100 lbs with assistance

15. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder / Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.

16. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

Education : HS diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience : 1 year feed mill experience preferred

Special Skills : 1. Basic Math Skills

1. Basic Math Skills

2. Communication Skills

3. Basic mechanical Skills

4. Basic computer skill

5. Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification

6. Ability to certify as a Weigh Master

7. Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (ability be clean shaven)

8. Valid Class D License where applicable

6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm Monday - Friday (could work some weekends depending on Feed Mill needs) Could work Holidays.

Requirements. 6-month operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)

180 days wait period from last termination date, 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex. If candidates from this location are not selected, applicants external will be reviewed.
