Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC Milling machines
- Set up and operate Manual Machines, Milling & Turning
- Set up, run and program Hardinge / Bridgeport with Okuma controls milling centers
- Perform secondary operations as required
- Read blueprints and understand Geometric and Standard tolerancing
- Use of Cutting Tool Selection, Speeds and Feeds
- Make tool adjustments and changes
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously
- Inspect all machined components verifying accuracy, completeness, and blueprint compliance
- Use of micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools
- Read and use tape measure
- Create and maintain machining operation data sheets and documentation
Qualifications / Experience :
- At least 3 years experience in setup and operation of CNC Mills
- Manual machine experience a plus
- Microsoft Word & Excel experience
- Knowledge of CAD system
- Knowledge using Metric System
- Knowledge of CNC Machining CAM system
- Ability to read, understand and modify programs directly on the machines, preferably with Okuma controls experience
