Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes, incorporating IoT devices and technologies.
- Develop and integrate IoT solutions to enhance data acquisition, analysis, and process automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Industry 4.0 initiatives and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure seamless operation of manufacturing equipment.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve control system issues.
- Optimize control algorithms and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all control system designs and implementations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in IoT and Industry 4.0, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
- Document control system designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI / SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of IoT technologies and their application in industrial settings.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and communication standards (e.g., MQTT, OPC-UA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
