RESPONSIBILITIES :

Deluxe Merchant Services is growing. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a company that is seeking innovators to help us take our technology to new heights.

As a Software Developer you will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.

Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications

Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle

Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications

Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems

Develop and maintain business-critical applications and reports

Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications

Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering and 2 years of software development experience;

OR HS / GED and 6 years relevant experience

Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including C#, Transact SQL, .netcore

Understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS), application deployment methodologies, source control & versioning (TFS)

Understanding of Change Control methodologies

Solid understanding of coding methods and best practices.

Extensive relational database and operating systems experience

Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including MS .Net and ASP

Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and / or usability issues

Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products

Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : (Desired but not required)

Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering AND 2 years of software development experience

Experience with mobile applications

Prior Merchant Services or Payments experience

Experience in finance
