Description
- Operate molders, grinders, trim presses, testers and other manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Perform hand operations such as trimming, assembly, soldering and packing
- Set up and modify assembly and / or test equipment layouts as required
- Maintain safe work environment and follow all safety standards
- Report deviations from the normal production process (machine faults, tool malfunctions, material problems, )
- Report quality defects
- Inspection of the parts in accordance with the worker-inspection plan or according to instruction before packing
- Packaging of products in accordance with instructions
- As part of TPM, maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace at all times
- Perform other job duties as assigned
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a regular basis
- Some aspects of the job may require repetitive motion
- Standing for majority of shift (Min 8 hour long shifts)
- Significant amount of bending and twisting
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Works well in a team environment
- Customer service oriented
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience with automotive supplier, OEM, or plastics industry is a plus
