JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Support Resource. The ideal candidate will support high-quality, patient-centered care by providing guidance and mentoring to new graduate nurses and nurses transitioning to our healthcare system.
This role involves offering feedback, supporting all clinical med / surg / telemetry units, and ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs patient acuity assessments and intervenes as necessary
- Identifies nursing educational needs and acts as a resource for new nurses
- Serves as a positive professional role model and exhibits clinical leadership
- Coordinates care delivery, develops educational information, and empowers patient teaching
- Assists patient care staff, serves as a clinical resource, and leads practice changes
- Practices ethically, integrates evidence and research findings into practice, and fosters shared decision making
- Communicates effectively, demonstrates leadership, and utilizes appropriate resources to provide safe and effective nursing services
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or nurse educator experience
- BSN strongly preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
