Evoke is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Supports client organization task management - i.e., quickly digest incoming requests for various internal and external deliverables, communicate action to the appropriate stakeholder(s), and track and monitor each request and deadline.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to improve existing processes by continuously exploring new methodologies, tools, and techniques that could enhance efficiency.

Propose and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.

  • Supports planning, development, and execution of various communications campaigns and projects.
  • Supports planning, promotion, and distribution of information within client space and with other Federal agencies.
  • Supports internal and external meeting and working groups.
  • Prepares and delivers various recurring reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Provides templates, style guidelines, and executive review of various communications products.
  • Supports internal and external website content development.
  • Drafts a wide range of communications materials when requested - e.g., internal and external communications, talking points, frequently asked questions, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Lead / manage various client tasks.
  • Quickly process incoming requests and appropriately communicate required action(s) to stakeholder(s).
  • Takes initiative to establish goals and plans to meet project objectives.
  • Comfortable interacting and interfacing with senior management.
  • Able to work successfully with general / limited direction.
  • Comfortable in dynamic environments and with rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (specifically SharePoint), Drupal, and Adobe.

Required Education

BA / BS and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience.

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.
  • Public Trust / Suitability Determination.

Work Location

Hybrid (Washington, DC and Remote).
