Operated in partnership with the Department of Public Safety, our Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center in Asheville, NC stands as a pillar of support for our community's youth.
We provide comprehensive juvenile assessments in a residential setting, aiming to connect young individuals with the services they need to thrive.
Serving Level II offenders aged 10 to 17, we are currently seeking passionate Cooks to join our team in full-time and part-time roles.
What You'll Do :
- Prepare nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for the Assessment Center's children and staff.
- Utilize your knowledge of basic nutrition requirements, meeting USDA standards for children.
- Design menus that align with the meal patterns mandated by the North Carolina Child and Adult Care Food Program.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation as per the NC Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines.
- Assist in managing food supplies and related inventory.
- Celebrate and incorporate cultural diversity into your menu planning.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Are you at least 21 years old with a High School Education ? Do you possess at least one year of experience in food preparation for groups, following dietary guidelines?
If so, we want to hear from you! A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record is required.
