Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is $55-70 per hour commensurate with experience plus bonus.

General Summary of Position
The NP role includes examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management.
Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.
Locations :
This position will require travel to our offices in the Greater Baltimore area excluding those near DC and in Virginia.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Interview patients for health history and perform physical examination
- Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Document H & P, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Act as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative care
- Caring for patients in both the clinic and hospital setting
- Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education / Training -Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
- License / Certification - Registered and currently recorded with the Virginia Board of Nursing, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialization
- Orthopedic experience is a plus
Physical / Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
