Skills : MS / Tele, IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Manage Cardiac & Vasoactive drips - no titration.
Use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, and Isolation Precautions,.
Certs : BCLS, ACLS, and NIH
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP : PCU / DOU / IClient / Stepdown, Titrate Cardiac drips, and Titrate Vasoactive drips,

Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!

Float Requirement : Floating required as needed to other Med / Surg units.
Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.
Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient
PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology.
UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE : Unit schedules
No Blocked Scheduling
UNIT ORIENTATION : 2, 12hr shifts. Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS : Any combination of navy and white.

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)
