Hybrid schedule is based on programs needs and determined by leadership Overview The Program Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, operation, and administration of all services offered by Family Reception Center (FRC), ensuring professionalism and compliance with agency policy and contractual commitments while creating and maintaining a positive, trauma-informed, and welcoming culture to all.

The program of 15 staff members offers services to a maximum of 96 families at any given time. Reports to : Vice President, Youth and Family Well-Being Location : 503 5th Avenue Brooklyn, New York 11215 Hours : 35 hours weekly (Exempt) Some Evenings will be required Salary Range : 78,880K-93,975K.

Salary Range commensurates with post graduate experience; specific relevant licensure and education Major Duties : Directly supervise social work supervisory and administrative staff and oversee supervision of all program staff at FRC, including student interns;

ensure the provision of high-quality counseling and casework services to families, groups, and individuals. Develop and implement staff training in collaboration with the Vice President and agency’s Learning and Development department that is conducive to the learning needs of staff and responsive to service delivery and advocacy in the community.

Effectively implement agency, government, and funder policy and procedures. Develop and nurture community relationships and conduct outreach in designated community districts in order to enhance services and maintain robust program utilization rates at all times.

Oversee program evaluation and quality improvement activities with staff in coordination with Program Evaluation and Planning (PEP) Department.

Monitor program budget and ensure timely purchasing / spending to meet program needs within varied budgetary limitations each fiscal year.

Serve as a culture carrier for the advancement of the use of Solution-Based Casework (SBC). Lead the implementation and integration of the SBC model consisting of assessment, family and individual level outcomes, action plans, and documentation and celebration for all families.

Provide regular coaching to supervisors to ensure staff are adhering to the tenets of SBC. Participate in continued SBC training, coaching and the SBC certification process for all staff.

Ensure all Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) contract obligations are met, liaising regularly with ACS personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Maintain an accountability system that monitors the program’s compliance with timely and high quality FASP submissions, Family Team Conferences, and progress note entries to ensure excellence in meeting these standards.

Ensure appropriate utilization of state and city databases (Connections, PROMIS, DPS One-Stop) and assist in resource development and networking related to Information Technology (IT).

Represent agency on relevant internal and external coalitions, committees, and workgroups, and participate in meetings offered by ACS and other stakeholders to support the program’s performance and contract compliance.

Ensure physical site is maintained in accordance with agency standards including the coordination of space, administrative, and supervisory coverage.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications : Master’s degree in social work or related clinical degree required.

Social Work or another relevant clinical license preferred. Must have 5 years of advanced supervisory experience in a child welfare or family services setting.

Spanish language fluency is preferred. Must be able to work at least one evening per week until 8 PM as needed. Must have strong administrative and social work skills.
