Description
National personal injury law firm is seeking an entry-level Legal Assistant to join its midtown Manhattan team on a temp to perm or permanent basis.
The ideal candidate is a motivated and proactive team player with :
- A college degree
- A demonstrated interest in the legal field
- Experience with medical records, a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Legal Assistant will :
- Support the firm’s attorneys
- Manage calendaring deadlines
- E-file documents
- Provide clients with case status updates
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Additional Information :
- Salary : $20.00 / hour - $22.00 / hour commensurate with experience plus benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, long-term disability & more
- Full-time in office
