Job Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the Palm Springs office, including supervising a small team of around 10 people.

This role will report to upper management and involve ensuring projects run smoothly, managing office efficiency, and supporting other departments like sales, warehouse, and project management.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can handle both the high-level oversight and occasional hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Palm Springs office, ensuring that all projects and team members are performing efficiently.
  • Coordinate with project managers, sales teams, and warehouse logistics to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Act as the final point of contact to resolve any project-related issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage team performance, including scheduling, resource allocation, and overall support for office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with P&L management, payroll, and scheduling responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement new operational processes to improve efficiency and workflow.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentorship to the office staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years in management, with experience in operations or team management preferred.
  • Industry experience (construction, architecture, AV integration, or related) highly preferred.
  • Experience managing P&L, office operations, and staff coordination.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on collaboration, mentorship, and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with luxury home automation or construction phases is a plus but not required.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
