As a Director of Program Management, you will be responsible for growing and leading the technical program manager organization within OCI's Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO).

The charter of the TSO organization is to define and maintain the engineering and operational bar across OCI in a way that aligns with Oracle’s strategic business objectives.

The TSO team proactively identifies and drives strategic initiatives, retroactively identifies and course-corrects critical efforts that are off track, and drives programs to maintain the bar for engineering and operational excellence.

The program management organization will be responsible for both running ongoing oversight functions and one-off business critical programs, closely collaborating with architects and leaders across OCI.

You will play a critical role in aligning priorities from various service teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving end-to-end execution of complex projects.

Your team will design, coordinate, and execute technical solutions that have huge impact on our customer experience and scalability.

Understanding various cloud technologies and technical trade-offs, the ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong communicator, both written and verbally, have a well-rounded technical background, and come with a history of leading a team as well as having a track record of leading large-scale projects end-to-end.

As a strategist, consultant, team builder, and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the senior management.

This leader will play a key role in the organization and oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution through their team.

The successful candidate will communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

They will review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.

They will help to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Operations : Drive the rhythm of the business, including reviews, leadership meetings, and strategy sessions while thinking holistically about key business processes, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational communications.
  • Strategic Initiatives : Create, implement, and track strategic plans, developing KPIs and success metrics where required.
  • Process Improvement : Identify, drive, and track progress of process and tooling improvement initiatives.
  • Team Builder : Mentor and grow a team of strong TPMs and align their ownership areas as best suited to the broader organization.
  • Force Multiplier : Identify stakeholder relationships to build and effectively partner with to facilitate the success of your role and the organization’s mission.
  • Culture and People : Work closely with HR and the leadership team to identify, analyze, develop, and execute strategies to improve team health and morale as indicated by employee feedback.

Qualification and Desired Experience

  • 10+ years in business, product, or operations planning
  • Experience with conflict resolution
  • Attention to detail, structured and creative thinking
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams. Direct people management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud technology

Range and Benefit Information :

US : Hiring Range : from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations.
