Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will oversee the production department, managing roofing crews and field supervisors.

Your role will ensure that all materials, tools, and resources are available for top-quality service. At Ridge Valley Exteriors, our core production standards focus on Identifying, Evaluating, and Executing.

This means spotting issues early, crafting effective plans, and delivering workmanship that meets our high standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Material Management : Conduct pre-start material checks, ensure orders are correct, and manage material waste.
• Communication : Keep homeowners and contract holders updated with verbal and photographic progress reports.
• Change Orders : Inform homeowners of additional project changes, provide change orders, and ensure they are signed.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate CRM records in Acculynx, including wood usage, change orders, material orders, and communication logs.
• Project Supervision : Oversee residential and commercial roofing projects, supply crews with necessary materials, and enforce OSHA safety measures.
• Inspections : Perform walk-thru inspections during various stages of the project, document each stage with photos, and ensure job site cleanliness and compliance with city and county inspections.
• Roof Inspections : Conduct inspections leading to roof repairs or addressing warranty claims.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work.
• Appraise performance and provide feedback.
• Reward and discipline employees as needed.
• Address complaints and resolve problems in line with company policies and laws.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in speaking before groups of customers or employees.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus!
