Your Impactful Role
As a valued member of our team, you will :
- Evaluate and manage assigned patients daily through face-to-face encounters for initial and follow-up visits in collaboration with physicians
- Identify, document, and initiate treatment plans and therapeutic interventions for conditions and symptoms within your scope of practice
- Exercise judgment on conditions and behaviors necessitating psychological testing, interventions, consultation, referral, or evaluation by supervising physicians
- Order, interpret, prescribe, correlate, and document patient behaviors and progress in relation to pharmacologic and testing interventions
- Participate in daily rounding as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team
- Complete the discharge process, including orders, summaries, and all necessary paperwork for transition to the next level of care
- Ensure accurate and compliant billing for all activities in accordance with coding guidelines and payer directives
Your Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking individuals with :
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication skills to engage with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staff
- Proficiency in high-productivity, fast-paced environments and maintaining accurate and concise documentation
- Experience with ICAN Notes is preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Active Indiana APRN License (or active APRN in a different state, with the ability to obtain an IN License)
- DEA and CSR Certification (or the ability to obtain certifications)
- Clozapine Risk Mitigation Strategy (REMS) Certification (or the ability to obtain certification)
Physical Requirements
In this role, you must :
- Be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Have the ability to use a computer and communicate effectively
- Have contact with potentially violent patients
