RN - Weekender Inpatient - Surgery/OR

Work Schedule :

90% FTE, Day / Evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift / weekend differential.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to :

• Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients who may also have underlying medical problems.
• Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and / or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Education :

Minimum - Associate Degree - Nursing (ADN)

Preferred - Bachelor of Science - Nursing (BSN)

Work Experience :

Minimum - Six (6) months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience.

Preferred - Three (3) years current PACU experience with demonstrated success in meeting PACU competencies.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, BLS / CPR certification.
