We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel position in Atlanta, GA.
Job Description :
As a Travel OR RN, you will play a critical role in the surgical team, providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
Your expertise in perioperative nursing will ensure that surgical procedures are conducted efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities :
- Assess patients before surgery, ensuring they are ready for the procedure
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and sterile
- Monitor patients during surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies as needed
- Manage patient care after surgery, including monitoring recovery and providing post-operative instructions
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outes for patients
Requirements :
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative nursing care
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to travel
