Job Summary
The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting and restoring patient's health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
This includes assessing, planning, and evaluating quality patient care, as well as providing education to patients, families, and the public.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Identify patient care requirements and establish rapport with patients and families
- Create a compassionate environment while providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and providing education to enhance self-care skills
- Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and making necessary adjustments to meet patient needs
- Ensure operation of equipment and maintain a safe and clean working environment adhering to procedures and regulations
Education / Experience Requirements
Required :
Graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing
Preferred :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
- One or more years of experience in a related setting
Licensure / Certification Requirements
Required :
Current Registered Nurse licensure
Preferred :
Basic Life Support Certification
