Job Description :
- Handle complex commercial and business litigation cases, including :
- Construction litigation
- Asbestos litigation
- Shareholder and joint venture disputes
- Contract breaches
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Business torts
- Board of contract appeals
- Represent hospitals and physician practice groups in healthcare law matters, including licensing, disciplinary boards, and credentialing assistance.
- Support lobbying and regulatory compliance efforts, including research, discovery, and legislative work before the Maryland General Assembly.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare law and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
