Territory Sales Representative
We are seeking a Boise Idaho based Territory Sales Representative.
Our client is a tier one distributor of flooring and surfacing that has a long history in the territory. The client has been in this market for over 90 years with an established dealer network who partner to bring products to market with outstanding results
Sales representatives will report to the area sales manager :
Duties :
- Identify key dealer accounts and position appropriate product displays and merchandising.
- Conduct in person daily sales calls within territory (6-8 per day)
- Conduct regular in person product presentations (formal / informal) of primary product lines to dealers and associate personnel.
- Meet launch timeline objectives, update and maintain product samples and merchandising.
- Prospect, contact, and develop new buying segment relationships for products.
- Respond quickly and provide solutions with claim issues.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Ability to present to individuals as a consultant in addition to presenting to groups.
- Ability to identify potential customer needs and offer solutions and products to solve needs.
- Ability to use Excel and Word software
- Excellent time management and communication (verbal and written) skills
- The ability to gather and analyze information with various tools
- Personal initiative and discipline to work in outside sales
- Must have appropriate vehicle to deliver sampling and merchandising devices
A top territory sales representative is career minded and must possess a level of professionalism which will allow them to meet and exceed company sales expectations and goals.
The overall objective is to meet or exceed sales goals by becoming a technical and product resource to the customer base within the respective territory.
Developing and building strong relationships with key accounts is imperative in accomplishing this through representation of a tier one portfolio of products.
