Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of high end custom homes in the San Francisco area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the construction process from start to finish, including overseeing subcontractors, scheduling inspections, and ensuring that all work is completed to code and meets project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that all plans and designs are executed correctly.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to provide updates on the progress of the project and address any concerns or issues.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are followed on the job site.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, preferably in the high end custom home construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
