Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a background in data analysis or data management for a new group that is working in our Information Governance team.
Responsibilities
- Ability to manage work for a project and work in an agile environment ability to create stories that are manageable and can be done within 1-2 week increments.
- Ability to work in a project team environment with deadlines, deliverables and communicate during daily stand up and other times if roadblocks, completed work / status, if they are waiting for answers and need work to fill the gaps.
- Ability to research and investigate using our tools at SRP and being proactive. Our #1 guiding principle is Be Prepared.
- Ability to understand data in various forms whether in a table / schema or on reports. Ability to read SQL code and dashboard development in Hadoop and Snowflake is a plus.
- Be a teammate that can be entrusted, step in and help, fill gaps as needed on the team, learn quickly and get up to speed on our services and the tools we use.
- Previous customer service training is a plus we interact with the business daily and how we support our business is top priority.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of project experience, with data management and / or data analysis as well as 1-3 years of BA experience as the ability to facilitate meetings with the business, elicit requirements and prepare documents (writing, presenting, formalizing) are important.
