Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Surgical Tech.

Position : Certified Surgical Tech. (CST)

Must be at the facility within 30 mins. after called in.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.

Job Role :

• Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
• Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

Qualifications :

• Prefer candidates that have 2 years of CST experience and acute care experience (1 year). May consider a strong candidate that does not have acute care experience.
• MUST have CST certification in hand.
• Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate

Compensation :

• Salary Range : Up to $32.86 / hr. (Based on years of exp.)
• Sign On : $15k
• Relocation Assistance : CASE BY CASE
• Shift Differentials : Night : $3.25 / hr.; Weekend : $2.00 / hr.; Evening (if working 8 / 10 hr. shifts) : $2.00 / hr.
• On Call Pay : On-call is $4.00 / hr. and call back is time and a half
