Are you a Web Application Developer / Software Developer with a passion for making data beautiful? A week in the life of a Web Application Developer / Software Developer :
- Develop mission-focused applications and project visibility components such as user interface, automated workflows, data repositories, charts and dashboards
- Identify and recommend ways to streamline business processes.
- Build visual data representations using products such as Tableau or Power BI
- Produce reports and visualizations supporting effective decision making
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
Job Requirements
- Active TS / SCI clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (CS) or Computer Science Information Systems (CSIS) or equivalent
- DoD 8570IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., Security+ CE , CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP)
- 7+ years of Web Design Experience
- 3-5 years' experience collecting, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing various types of data
- Experience working with ColdFusion , Confluence , and administering Oracle v19
- Experience with Data Analytics, using data mining to extract information from data sets, and identifying errors or inconsistencies in data
- Identify correlations and patterns using tools such as Oracle BI, Python, and R tools
- Experience building visual data representations using products such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with data transformation and preparation
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software development practices (e.g. Scrum / XP)
- Experience working with SQL and Oracle extracting data from large databases
- Experience administering Linux (RHEL), including applying updates
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.
Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
